A re-elected McGowan Labor Government will invest $1 million into upgrading the facilities at Sorrento Football Club as part of its commitment to keep the local community healthy and strong.

The upgrades will include an upgrade of the change rooms, particularly female change rooms, meaning that all players will have access to suitable and safe facilities.

New lights and improved disability access will also be included in the works, which will provide a more welcoming environment for all those wishing to have some fun, be physically active and socialise with friends.

The Club, which has over 2000 members, is vying for the opportunity to be a training ground for a competing international team during the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup.
